DJ Elistha knüpfte erste Kontakte mit dem britischen Musik-Genre Breakbeats 1994. Fasziniert von dieser Art der Musik und anderen elektronischen Musik Genres, entwickelte er eine große Leidenschaft, die er unbedingt umsetzen wollte. 1999 schaffte es MC Kwestion, als einer seiner besten Freunde, Elistha zu motivieren, so dass er sich dem Ganzen wieder voll hin gab. Zu Beginn des Jahres 2000 spielte er dann auf verschiedenen, illegalen Partys. DJ Soulpride eröffnete sein DJ-Debüt mit zahlreichen Buchungen auf den legendären Gunshot-Nächten.
2001 entdeckten diverse Veranstalter sein großes Talent und gab ihm die Chance auf größeren Veranstaltungen zu spielen. 2006 machte Er mit seinen schnellen Mixing Skills und seinen unverwechselbaren Double Drops auf sich Aufmerksam und gewann den Jungle Fever Battleflloor. 2008 wurde er zusammen mit Soulpride Resident-DJ bei Jungle – Fever und e:Motion Germany Events.
DJ Elistha spielte bereits neben bekannten Grössen wie: Mampi Swift, Friction, Hype, Dillinja, Krust, Brockie, Chase&Status, Black Sun Empire, Mickey Finn, Bryan Gee, Total Science, Simon Bassline Smith, DJ Edecay und vielen, vielen mehr.

RuFFM am 18.10.2008 mit Nymfo

Der niederländische Produzent und DJ Nymfo zählt für Szenekenner zu den Lichtegstalten der frischen, puristischen Linie in D&B. Seine Releases auf Crunch Recordings oder Andy C’s legendärem Ram Recordings markierten den Aufbruch zu neuen, alten Ufern. Break-Verliebtheit paart sich mit Minimalismus, der dafür sorgt, dass selbst Elektro-Fans am Sound Nymfos Spass finden. In der “Online-Bibel” der D&B-Szene, dem britischen Portal Dogs On Acid füllte Nymfo’s Sound in diesem Sommer einen Thread mit der Überschrift: “Nympho is incredibly underrated!”

Die Drum and Bass Bundesliga wurde vor 5 Jahren gegründet. Hier kämpfen die Top-Künstler aus Deutschland um den begehrten Meisterschaftstitel. Eine fachkundige Jury und das Publikum entscheidet in 5 Kategorien (Selection, Mix, MC, Performance und Rauschzustand) ob das Spiel unentschieden ausgegangen ist oder eine Mannschaft gewonnen hat. Am Ende jeder Saison steht der Meister fest.

Internationale Bekanntheit wurde durch die große Anzahl an kreativen Remixen und Bootlegs auf Ihren Mixtapes und verschiedenen White Labels erreicht. Es folgten unzählige Remixaufträge aus allen Teilen Europas, den USA und Jamaica.

Storm has always been one of the most influential DJs within drum and bass, known for tight mixing skills and exclusive selection. As one of the Metalheadz label’s chief selectors, she represents the crew at their residencies, label nights and tours as well as countless solo gigs. More recently, she’s linked with other like-minded female drum and bass artists to form Feline and has travelled with the crew to dates in across Europe as well as making regular appearances as Feline resident at their club night at London’s Herbal. Affectionately dubbed the First Lady of Drum and Bass, Storm’s career has also had it’s lows to match the highs. In a tragic accident returning home from a gig, her best friend and DJing partner Kemistry was killed beside her. Storm carried on with the music beside her, continuing the passion they had shared for drum and bass and leading the way as a role model for aspiring young female artists to break into what is still a male-dominated scene. In 2007 she also received plenty of much deserved press attention. A rarity for a non-producer, she bagged herself a Knowledge Cover feature in Summer, only to top it up with an ATM mag cover mix-cd featuring a ‘history of Metalheadz’ mix. This mix was to help promote the newly established Metalheadz Sunday Sessions at London’s Clockwork club which Storm does not only serve as a resident but also as a promoter and programmer for all bi-weeky line-ups.

Stamina has toured the world extensively over the last few years alongside DJ Marky, in addition to performing with a variety of other DJ’s, and in fact, performing DJ gigs himself. After the success of DJ Marky & XRS’s track ‘LK’ and D.Kay & Epsilon’s ‘Barcelona’ both which featured Stamina’s vocals, the MC’s career skyrocketed and has brought him all over the globe: to Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Japan, and of course all over the UK and Europe and beyond. Stamina was also for a time touring as vocalist for London Electricity Live and has since moved on to open himself up to offers with a variety of artists. With his smooth vocal stylings it’s fair to say Stamina, above all other drum’n’bass MC’s, has had a great crossover appeal that has brought him to a wider worldwide audience. With his style he’ll make a great accompanyment to the finest d’n’b nights on offer, and is currently also the MC for Shy FX’s album tour.
